General information

Technical-scientific papers in the following areas can be submitted by company professionals, professors, technicians and students. Acceptance of submitted papers is subject to approval by the Organizing Committee.

Other topics, not listed above but of interest to the ceramic sector are acceptable.

Each registered author can present or confirm the presentation of up to TWO papers.

The abstracts should contain, in a concise manner, the main aspects of the full paper. That is, identification of the problem, specific objectives of the paper, methodology, main results and conclusions.

The contents of the abstract will be evaluated by the Organizing Committee with the following objectives:

  • Accept or not the paper;

  • Classify the paper based on area of interest;

  • Define the form of presentation, oral or poster (see Norms for preparing and presenting the paper)

  • In terms of the criteria for acceptance, minimal requirements are: the title and the content should be sufficiently clear to enable identification of the topic (pay attention to serious grammatical and spelling errors that prevent the text from being understood)

  • The paper should be within the scope of the Congress. That is, the paper should have some direct link with ceramics or glasses and it should be related to problem solving. In some form the

paper should contribute to advancing knowledge base of the area (Avoid reporting cases that can be considered to be routine or is common knowledge to those working in the area of ceramics)

Papers accepted, based on the abstract, can be presented at the Congress even if the full paper is not submitted.

Only full papers can contest awards (See rules for awards)

Important:

Only abstracts submitted using the on line form will be considered. In case you wish to add one or more authors, as yet unregistered, this can be done later using the Congress web site pageAlteration of paper details, available on the presenting author’s panel.
