USE OF V2O5-ADDED Mg4Nb2O9 CERAMIC MATRIX FOR PRODUCTION OF DIELECTRIC RESONATOR ANTENNAS AND MICROWAVE APPLICATIONS

For 10%V2O5 sample was obtained the following values loss tangent tan? = 8.817x10-5 and relative permittivity ?r =14, for 0%V2O5 sample with loss tangent tan? = 1.688x10-3 and relative permittivity ?r =7.47, for 2%V2O5 sample with loss tangent tan? = 5.056x10-4 and relative permittivity ?r =11 and finally for 5%V2O5 sample loss tangent tan? = 3.0118x10-4 and relative permittivity ?r =10.60. The dielectric resonator antennas (DRA) were analyzed by using both Hakki-Coleman and monopole techniques for finding loss tangent, relative permittivity, quality factor. These parameters values were used for numerical simulations achieved by using High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) software which uses finite element for solving electromagnetic fields
