Foz do Iguaçu (Iguazú River Mouth) is the 4th largest city in Paraná state, Brazil and the 11th largest in the Brazil's Southern region. The city is a popular year round tourist destination and has a population of about 325,000 inhabitants. It is it is located 650 km (400 mi) west of Curitiba, Parana's capital city, being the westernmost city in that state near the border of Paraguay and Argentina. The city has a modern international airport and excellent infrastructure. The city offers a wide variety of restaurants, hotels, parks, etc. to the visitors. The most spectacular attraction of Foz is the Iguaçu Falls which is formed by the Iguaçu River at the boundary between Brazil and Argentina. There are a number of falls that can be nearly watched by visitors but the Devil's Throat, a U-shaped, 82-meter-high, 150-meter-wide, and 700-meter-long fall is the most remarkable one. The Iguaçu Falls is considered one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

Iguaçu is also spelled in English as Iguazu or Iguassu.

There are direct flights to Foz de Iguaçu from most important cities in Brazil. From São Paulo (1.5 hour flight) international airport there are about 7 daily flights that cost around US$ 180 (round trip) and from Rio (2 hour flight), 5 flights per day at similar price. The airport in Foz is located 20 min from downtown and 10 min. from the Conference Hotel (Mabu Thermas and Resort :
